Shanghai Neighborhood Guide-French Concession

The historic French Concession is roughly a 10 sq km area consisted of the present-day Luwan, Xuhui Districts, along with a smaller portion of JingAn and Changning Districts.  From the mid-1800's to 1930's, the area saw an influx of people from all over the world and all walks of life: the French, and later on the White Russian refugees, entrepreneurial Jews, Chinese gangsters, and communist revolutionaries.  The area is best explored on foot so you can take a closer look at the old buildings scattered throughout.

    Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

    I am looking for a short term appartment:

    - from 7th June
    - Period: until 31 October 2010 (possible extand to end 2010)
    - I am single (1 or 2 bedrooms)
    - In Puxi, French concession
    - Good location: close to line 1 or line 2 and easy to find a taxi.
    - Quite
    - Very good level appartment:
    - quite new and reliable equipment (I do not want to spend my time to fix them).
    - Renovated and clean
    - Good style (decoration and furniture)
    - Efficient internet connection (I will have to work with Europe & the US in the morning and evening)
    - Rental will be directly paid by my company (strong international group)

    For your information, I am currently staying at Xujiahui but it is a bit far from my new office which is located in Pudong (close to Intercontiental Hotel).

    I hope that these information are enough.
